FAQ

  • How many sessions will I need to get to my goal?
    This all depends on your goals and the size and time constraints in place. Use your free consultation to your advantage and see what the best estimate will be for number of sessions required to reach each of your goals.
  • Can I book more than one room/space but not my whole home?
    Yes, of course! But we will want to start with a single space first. During our consult, we can meet to discuss which area makes sense to begin first. Then we will set up payments accordingly; however you can start by booking a "single space declutter & organize" service and we will add on from there.
  • Do you work with Hoarding Disorder?
    No, unfortunately, that is beyond my scope as hoarding is a mental disorder that requires extreme cleanup services as well as effective therapy treatments.
  • Will I have to remove decluttered items from my space on my own?
    For our first session, I am happy to remove a carload of items on your behalf so you can feel the impact this makes for you. After that, transferring items like trash and donations will be your responsibility (if you're able), as that will help you build up your "decluttering muscle" or the habit of getting items out of your space effectively. I will make special concessions for mobility or disability needs!
  • You offer moving services - are you a moving company?
    No, I am not a moving company! I assist clients with what I call "purging and packing". This means I can help coach people sp they can pare back unnecessary items in advance. I help clients to prepare for a move or downsize with less clutter in their new space. Alternatively, I am also able to assist with unpacking in a new place, so that you keep only what you need/love/use to start out on the right foot!
  • Do you help people with mobility or health limitations?
    Yes, and we can assess more during your free consultation to determine what services and systems will best work with these limitations. I aim for progress and not perfection! If a limitation is too far out of my scope, I will refer you to other professionals for assistance.
  • Do you clean out storage facilities or garages/sheds/attics?
    This all depends on the context. As a rule, I will not clean out areas that have a bio-hazard or fall/trip risk (rodent or pet waste, toxic chemicals, use of ladders, etc.). In this case, you are welcome to do a virtual consultation where we can discuss the possibility of a session together or not.
  • Can I pay for your services online?
    I hope to add this feature in the future! For now, I accept in-person payments via E-transfer.
